What is the Art Market Academy?

The Art Market Academy offers a unique environment where students can explore the topic of Art Provenance Research from a multitude of angles.

Our carefully curated courses cater to individuals whose knowledge in the field ranges from basic to professional.

Our curriculum, which is updated regularly, is taught by experts in the field, who will focus on various topics such as Introduction to Provenance Research, Holocaust-Era assets and Provenance Research, Collections Management and Research Methodologies.

Courses run year round and can be completed at individual pace, in any of the languages available simultaneously, allowing students to switch back and forth at any time.

Coaching sessions are part of every course, sometimes as a group and sometimes on a one-to-one basis. All you have to do is reach out to your course instructor and schedule your session.

There is no straightforward and easy way to learn how to conduct provenance research and due diligence for for all types of works of art simultaneously, hence why the aim of the course is to help students learn how to think creatively, tackle research issues, and equip them with knowledge regarding the available ready sources.

Based on the artwork, the period or even the medium, varied and specific skills are required to successfully plan and complete the research.

The Art Market Academy hopes to provide a platform whereby combining intro courses with courses on more specific topics, students can come out with a helpful toolkit and enhanced knowledge base.

We regularly organise bespoke trainings and workshops for private individuals or working groups, so please do get in touch directly at [email protected] if you require further assistance.
